(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Golden amber colour, hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty nose with bread, hay, cereal and a touch of banana and peaches. Malty taste with notes of bread, cereal, hints of dried fruit, toasty grain, banana and a mild grassy bitterness, Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly complex, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

pours cloudy dark amber with a dense creamy head and a nice lacing. mostly strong caramel on the nose, some nuts and dough. sweetish flavour of toasted malts, bread, a hint of chocolate. slightly watery, oily mouthfeel.

pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head and a nice lacing. sour aroma of citrus, brett, white wine. sour, fruity and fresh flavour, not unlike a lambic. weak carbonation. nice and refreshing.

pours slightly hazy pale golden with a medium white head and little lacing. yeasty fruity aroma, vanilla, dough. flavour apricots, vanilla, apple juice, bread. definitely not a typical helles, more like a kellerbier. interesting, but not my style.
