Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is herbal, floral and hoppy with saffron, flower petals, touch of ginger, some cardamom, lightly fruity. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Very herbal with lots of saffron and floral notes, not bad.

Persica Indica (6.2% ABV) from Mantra Artisan Ales

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is juicy tropical fruits, fairly strong tart peach, fruity hops, mango, and pure orange juice. Flavour is quite bitter and lightly sweet with an aggressive hop burn in the throat, it's a bit too much. Body is medium. Interesting but flawed, pure bitter fruit juice, a likeable if unbalanced curiosity.

Vintage bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Bruna, miele di castagno carico, con riflessi rossastri, schiuma bianco sporca media. Al naso note di lievito, frutta rossa, vinoso, mentuccia. In bocca è magnifica, appena abboccata con acidità media, vinosa, legno, leggero acetico. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Spettacolare!

A mixed-ferm farmhouse ale, this seems meant to be between a Wit and saison but ends up tasting more like cider. Think something got lost in transit (Tennessee to Belgium).

2/7/2022. Bottle shared at fonefan tasting. Pours cloudy pale orange with a short lasting spritzy white head. Aroma of orange, sour peach, yeast, Andrews liver salts. Light sweetness, heavy tartness. Moderate body. Fizzy. Slightly salty finish. Quite liked it.

2/7/2022. Bottle shared at fonefan tasting. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of white grape, malt, hops, yeast, funky and herbal notes. Quite heavy tartness. Fizzy. Medium body. Enjoyed this.
