(33cl swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a moderate foamy white head. Quite sweet malty aroma with light herbal hoppy and lemon notes. Light-bitter flavour, shy malty base with a very shy hoppy background, rather light bodied with an almost empty mouthfeel; dry, light bitter finish. At most suitable as a Tafelbier, otherwise probably perfect on a hot sunny day during vacation somewhere in the Caribbean.

33 cl bottle brought home from Germany by a realtive of mine. Light yellow color, big white bubbly head. Dry malty scent with a touch of sweetness and bitterness. Dry bitter flavor, with a sweet but also very dry aftertaste and mouthfeel. Medium high bitterness and mouthfeel. Biggest character is the dry feeling in the aftertaste. It’s not un-pleasant though.

Bottle (donated by Yogi_beera): Pale golden coloured, small lacing white foam; cardboardy, soapy nose with a faint malty touch; slightly bitter-sweet flavour; bitter-soapy end. No pleasure...........

Beugelbuddel (thanks to Yogi_beera): Golden coloured, small fluffy white head; wet cardboard very present in the aroma, covering the sweet malt and the grassy bitterness; rough bitter flavour, thin bodied, a bit watery; short bitter-grainy finish with a tinge of citrousy fruitiness. Nearly as disappointing as the horrible Pilseners from the "Sauerland"..............

Bottled. Pale golden. Papery malt aroma. medium dry with clean mouthfeel. Boiled vegetables are evident. Finishes with medium bitterness. It has some crispness, but on the whole it’s more like an international lager than enything else.
