A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor combined with notes of caramel and hints of alcohol.

Bottled. Pale golden with a decent, white head. Malty aroma with grain and hay. Malty flavor with some sweetness and grains. Just another german pils, much better than Dithmarscher pils though. (051210)

Bottled. Pale golden with white head. Aroma is like a field of flowers with some malt. Much the same in flavor. Some stickyness in the mouth with a weak bitterness in finish. Not the typical pilsner. (051210)

(Bottle 33 cl) Beautiful, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Nose is pure alcohol. Good, full body with distinct notes of caramel and a warming alcohol. Marked hoppy finish. A very traditional German. Bock. 031205

Hazy blond color. The aroma is too simple. The body is quite weak, develops itself better at the end; the bitterness is quite high, dry, long and decent.

330 ml fliptop / swingtop bottle, bought in Germany. Copper coloured, large and lasting offwhite head, nice lacing. Pleasant malty, slightly roasty and caramel aroma, notes of rye bread, some aromatic hops too. Flavour is reasonably malty and slightly roasty, hints of smoke and caramel. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Allegedly this is an authentic 16th century "Braunbier" - at any rate it is well worth sampling!

Bottle. Almost clear (chill haze), pale yellow colour. Small, but quite stable, creamy white head. Bready aroma, a hint of grain. Flavour is a little fruity and citric. Aftertaste is quite harshly bitter.

Blond color. Too simple aroma (corn; light vanilla). Very common taste. Average bitterness.
