Level 6 bottleshare. Light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, quite light, pretty modest carbonation. Smooth rum soaked fruits. Spice. Smooth finish. Spicy linger. Decent, not outstanding.

Bottle split at L6 tasting, thanks, 23/05/19. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is light spice, chocolate, charr, minty aroma. Taste comprises mellow roast, charr, cocoa powder, spice, chocolate biscuit, light herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but lacking depth in flavour for the ABV.

Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and has a light minerally crispness. Slightly thin dark malts but with reasonable malt cream and a very reasonable dark chocolate vibe. Modest coffee. Barrel character brings a little wet wood and thin but satisfying fruity ripe bourbon. All comes together very well. A light beer with a light but effective barrelling. Very good indeed.

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft 3 viscous, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts with a near seamless blend of toffee - caramel, smooth mellow coffee and malt cream. Some tangier coffee and ripe citric peel bitterness on the end. A little spice too. Not a classic barleywine, lacks real depth, but interesting and tasty.
