From cask at Shakespeare's Ale & Cider House with OGJ on trip to 24 Northern counties 04.01.18. Pale hay colour. Small head. Strong aroma and taste of coconut and Bounty chocolate bar. Still good drinkability

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Beer Merchants Tap, Hackney Wick. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Pretty novel stuff, a little on the sweet side, with definite mint notes, some light vanilla frosting, pale bread, a little ripening citrus. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty well balanced finish, more sweet pale malts, impressions of angel food cake and mint. To be honest, it grew on me.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft, I suspect. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a small, creamy white head. Quite clean and dry, pleasant, with a little salty bite, mellow bitter pine needles, tangy lemon. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Dry finish, salty, clean, lightly tart, more relaxed lemon notes, pine needles. A tidy little quencher.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to the Osprey on the night of his triumphant return to the Southern Territory. Pours unclear brown with a frothy, tan head. Nicely wintery in terms of the spicing, with other notes of rounded chocolate and toasted brown bread. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with mild warmth, burnt cinnamon, cocoa, mellow roast. I liked it.
