Description
As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Cask at the cask festival 2019. A translucent golden coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is sour lemon and lime, dishwater citrus, bitter lemon, lime. Flavour is composed of rustic wheat, bitter lemon and pithy lime, low yogurt funk, hint of tcp medicinal notes. Palate is wheat, tart. Bitter lemon, lowish carbonation. Lingering citrus bitterness. Not bad

23 February 2019. (Tasting formerly known as) RBBWG. Cheers to all, thanks Kraddel for the hospitality! Hazy pinkish orange with a quickly thinning, off-white head. Rather pungent aoma of bacon, green olive, smoked herring, burnt matches, sourdough, faint green banana, old apple. Taste is light to medium malty sweet, bready & yeasty with notes of smoke, bacon, fruity touches of green apple & unripe banana (getting some acetaldehyde here - infected?), quickly turning medium spicy bitter though, pepper & chili heating up, which results in a dry, grassy hoppy finish with a very hot chipotle burn, faint smoke & bacon. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Fascinating brew but too aggressive for me.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft, just today in fact. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Fairly basic stuff, has some dried citrus peel, pale grains, nips of grass and pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further grainy pale malts, lemon and tangerine rind, a little mango. Drinks fine.
