Can. Opens with a pretty big pffft of air. Opaque dark brown beer with a suspiciously large tan head. Airy fluffy palate, decent fine carbonation. Fairly dry and thin dark malts. Some decent dark malt cream. Things go downhill for me. Tonka and honey are obvious and they don't do anything for each other. Light semi dry finish. Bleh. There is nothing wrong with the brewing but the flavours chosen are really grating for me.

From recently unearthed notes, drank January 2016. Growler from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Black pour with a tan head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, toffee with a hint of dark fruits. Flavours of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, treacle toffee, liquorice. Roasty, malty finish.

22nd August 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange gathering in Chez Sophie. Usual 5 in attendance, tonight's 'Cobweb Beer' is a 330ml bottle of this; Best Before August 2016, so only 6 years out of date, brewed in 2015. It's brown with a beige head, just beginning to show it's age a little, but still has a decent aroma and strong Brown Ale feel to it's nose and flavour.
