Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a rich and frothy lacing, white head. Discreet malty nose. Light body, malty with a distinctive note of cardboard before some mellow bittering hops. 100723

Altenburger Karli's Kellerbier, Flasche von der Tourismusinformation Altenburg. - Helles Goldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase mild karamelliges und schwach nussiges Süßsauer, Butterkeks, leicht muffige Orangenherbe, zarte ranzige Züge. - Antrunk satt karamelmalzig mit deutlicher Süße und stumpf orangenfruchtiger Herbe, die in mäßige krautige Bittere mit derben Zügen übergeht. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang nachhallende Malzsüße und matte Hopfenherbe. - Mißtönende malzige Süße und billige, derbe Hopfung: dieses Altenburger Bier fällt ebenso plump und unbefriedigend aus wie seine Geschwister. (Hola menust). Uus pruulikoda ja ükski sõber pole ka viimastel aastatel joonud (untappdis on teavasti bug, et päris vanu asju friends sakis ei näe...). Igal juhul magus ja linnaseline, viljane, laagrine, nats humalat ka. Ok viljane laager.

50cl swing top bottle. A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grainy malt, some biscuit and cereals. Taste of biscuit malt, some toffee, spicy hops, bread and cereals. Moderate bitterness.

Bottled. Brown colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is ashy, some roasted malts, mild grassy tones with some slight wood and mild maltiness. Flavour is roasted, mild ashy, some grassy, wooden and mild malty tones.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is grains, grass, herbs and some mild earthy tones. Flavour is herbal, grassy and some crisp malts to it. Quite a hoppy Helles, but that just makes it more drinkable!
