Pints out of the bottle at Harbour View Restaurant. Soaking wet cold and miserable with 4 hours before the ferry leaves Port Au Basques. Clear yellow lightly sweet and a bit grainy, cold and crisp. Its a macro lager, not anything you wouldn't expect cleanly made. The first one went down in record time as I slowly returned to somewhat normal. The next two paired well with the Greco pizza I savored before heading getting on the ship to head back home.

I had this at the hotel bar in Port Au Choix Light yellow color with a bubbly white head. The India in the name fooled me, shame on me. Middle of the road even bland golden ale.

Pours crystal clear deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with light honey, nutty, corn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice aromas with pale malt/grains and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with light honey, nutty, corn, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with light honey, nutty, corn, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/grains and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Lightly increasing warmth of 7.3% after the finish. Overall this is a good malt liquor. All around nice robustness of pale malt/grains and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, clean, and easy to drink for the ABV. Very clean and rich barley flavor profile, with decent earthy hop balance. Not overdone on corn/adjuncts at all. Pretty similar to Regular and Ice, with more barley flavor and body as expected. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity/metallic aromas, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Mildly increasing warmth of alcohol through the glass. Overall this is a pretty good pale adjunct lager style. All around nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery. Other than the slightly off aromas, this was really tasty. Very clean barley/grain flavors and solid earthy hop balance. Not overdone on adjuncts. A nicely enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Pretty close to the regular, but more flavorful and fuller mouthfeel as expected.
