Purchased at The Club in Regina where we played our first show of our tour. Typical golden colour, with a white head that is kind of creamy, leaving a cap and lacing. Aromas are the weakest spot here, with junky hops over the mild malts. The taste is malty, almost pilsner-like with the hops showing better here. Quite a decent refreshing brew.

Sampled from the tap at Maxwell’s Plum. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of corn and sweet grains with some biscuit supporting. Flavor has lots of corn and stale sweet grains with a touch of bread underlying.

Can - Malty, earthy hops with a touch of pine. Clear golden Amber with a rich beige head. Sweet candy caramel with a touch of hops. No bitterness at all, much too sweet.

Can - A touch of malt. Clear Amber with a quick dissipating frothy head. Caramel sweetness and a sweet finish. OK I guess for a Vienna, although a bit sweet and malty.

Hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre, relatively fast-dying tan head. Aroma of malt, sugar, caramel, toffee and a bit of metal. Medium-bodied; Assertive caramel and toffee flavour with some light grain, a bit of malt and some grassy flavours near the end. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from a very small amount of hops, some metallic notes and a bit of earthy funk that kind of tastes a hint of yeast strain! Overall, a very interesting beer that feels sort of like an English PA or an Amber Ale, but not much more than that - still, they got me when I saw the label was Molson, and it reminded me of College Days, and this wasn’t a good beer, but I did have to try it! I sampled this 625 mL bottle purchased from the IGA at Rue Berri (Berri-UQAM Station) in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$3,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Montreal a few minutes later on 18-September-2016.

Draft - Light corn. Clear gold with a nice white head. Light something, but really nothing. A very tasteless beer.
