US pint can at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. 7.8%. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light toffee, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, piney, guava, mango, light tart grapefruit, pineapple, dry hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg @ Oluthuonr Haka, Helsinki.
Poured light orange in color.
Aroma of oats and candy fruity notes. Pretty sweet with notes of citrusy hops and oat flakes. Not that balanced, not the freshest feel. Still quite drinkable though.

Bottle shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Clear, bright cranberry juice, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong tart-over-sweet berry, oak, funky. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Beautiful beer with strong flavor and aroma and good complexity. Avoids getting super sour. Still a bit more tart than I would love but I have to respect how well made this is.

500 ml bottle cellared for 9 months. Nice deep red in color. Aroma is oak, blackberry and light acid. Yep, funky berry, oak and d a sharp acid slap to the mouth. Hints of vinegar. This is an old school sour ale. Not my thing.

Panda thanks to Wingman. A mild haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head that lasts no time at all. Light palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin bodied pale malts provide a modicum of sweetness. Light dry pine. A little hop spice. Bitterish citrus, some peel. Light finish. Hmmm. Quite old school overall and, for me, too dry.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20251208) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, molasses and toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, molasses, toasted malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, grass and bitterness. Good looks. Otherwise too much on the sweet side.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly off white head, doesn't last. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally crispness. Light smooth pale malts, pretty sweet, a tad too much on my book. Cooling pine into a fair hop spice nip. Soft cooling pine. Slightly ripe but juicy citrus, a little ripe stone fruits. Light finish. Too sweet but drinkable anyway!

Can from Stacks. Hazy ochre, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, mango, mandarin, grape, paprika, thyme, pine, shallot, gin. Taste has sweetish mango & mandarin, quickly turning towards bitter grapefruit, pine & orange peel with some dank & herbal notes in a doughy malt body. Very bitter finish of resinous & piney hops, dank onion, grapefruit, herbs and warming gin-like alcohol. Medium to full body, fluffy texture, soft carbonation. Intensely bitter with additional herbal features, offering a lovely complexity. DIPA of quite a high standard.

Canned 6/4/24, drunk 11/14/25, as pictured.
Super mellow and rounded due to the long, cold rest. Lightly juicy with big fruitiness but low acidity, low sugar and no aggressive characteristics. Salinity and mineral in there with wheat nuttiness/blandness.
Soft and juicy with light-to-moderate, softer acidity and high attenuation throughout. Soft, chewy, wheaty texture with salinity and mineral lingering. Still plentiful texture and comfort on the palate.
