Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Bitton Beer Festival 3/5/2017. Deep amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. An easy drinking bitter, with sweetish malts, a hint of caramel, touch of citrus fruit and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Bitton Beer Festival 3/6/2017. Pale gold in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of grapefruit and oranges, with some leafy hops. Flavour had more citrus fruit, with a slightly sharp edge, biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Fine.

Cask as Vog Speakeasy 4.6 % abv at Small Bar Cardiff. Bubbly white head, dotted spots, near-clear golden-brown body. Aroma of herbal hops and grain.. The taste profile brigs moments of ripe fruits, caramel and bread.Bittersweet endnotes. Quite well balanced and pretty alright. (02.05.2017).

Cask as Vog South Island, shared with Finn at City Arms. Crocheted lacing from a diminishing white head. Misty yellow coloured body. Moderate aroma of pineapple. Mid-dry fruity flavours, hints of lemon, pineapple and minerals. Restrained bitter fruity endnotes. Satisfying. (Cardiff 02.05.2017).

Handpull cask from the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Very dark brown, impenetrable with a creamy khaki head. Chocolate malt, milky coffee, black raspberry in the aroma. Sweet and surprisingly hoppy turning sour and bitter toward the finish. Forest fruits and liquorice notes in the aftertaste. Starts out well but it’s messy on the finish.

Tried at the Hop and Barley, Lincoln. Really nice of black colour with an off white head. Aroma light roasted malt, taste roasted bitter sweet. nIce smooth body.
