Description
Established in 2005 and bottling since 2008. Headed by Phil and brewed by Rob, we’re a small team brewing a wide range of beers in cask, keg, bottle and can. Along with a core offering we also have seasonal brews and a one off brew range called ‘New Tricks’. Experimental recipes are run through our small batch kit before trying them out on the main kit and releasing them to the masses. Some of these have proved so popular that they’ve graduated to our core range.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Middle of the road golden. Clear with a spotty white head and a lot of lacing. Light notes of tropical fruit hop on the nose combined with a sweet biscuity malt. Bittersweet hoppy taste with a chlorinous astringency near the finish. Not particularly polished but still worth drinking.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light gold, clear. A film of white head sits on top. The hoppy notes can't compete with the vegetal sulphur. Taste is just as confused: the hoppy bitterness feels cut with bleach, and there's a meaty note to the maltiness in the initial sip. It's all a bit wrong!
