Description
Established in 2005 and bottling since 2008. Headed by Phil and brewed by Rob, we’re a small team brewing a wide range of beers in cask, keg, bottle and can. Along with a core offering we also have seasonal brews and a one off brew range called ‘New Tricks’. Experimental recipes are run through our small batch kit before trying them out on the main kit and releasing them to the masses. Some of these have proved so popular that they’ve graduated to our core range.

Cask at Brewery Tap, Chester Bought this because of the name (it’s a Nick Cave song), and wasn’t expecting a 7% beer, so review maybe somewhat skewed. Pours an orange-red with a tight cream head. Nose is dominated by alcoholic strength (brandy, schapps etc). In the mouth there is corn-cob, oranges, some malts, and the ever-present brandy, which lasts into the finish. A good traditional IPA, but shows it’s strength too much.
