One of the better Lentebocks i've had this year. Smooth taste, as the typical lentebock is going down the throat. Fine palate.

Rerate, 500 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Cloudy / milky yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Strong sweetish and spicy aroma, notes of elderflowers, bananas, bubble gum, citrus, coriander and cloves. The flavour is wheaty and refreshing, notes of banana, cloves and herbs. Very moderate hops. Original rating: I got this served in the Amstedam Arena restaurant in Holland (from bottle) with a slice of lemon in the glass, but suspect it would have a slightly citrussy aroma and flavour even without the slice. Very refreshing, but not enough to be ecstatic about. A bonus point for the cute hamster on the bottle!

Tan, hazy; Aroma: malt, band aid phenols, pears, peaches, bubblegum, wheat; smooth palate - lemony, pear-like fruitiness, champagne yeastiness, silky pale malts, with the styrians sort of hanging out in the corner by themselves. Finishes sweet with a hint of pineapple. Different.

Very citrussy white. Some bananas in it also i guess. But a sharp sour taste from the citrusses is what remains in the palate. Still refreshing though. I'm still more into the Hoegaarden, but this white is certainly not just an ordinary white!

A decent pilsener from the dutch outskirts. With its nice malts, its a good brew, but not outstanding.

At Zwarte Ruiter, Gulpen. Dark reddish-brown. Aroma is fruity, barrelly, light vinegar, overripe plums, dark brown sugar. Light-bodied, sweet and sour, refreshing and with a light, fruity finish. Neat beer.
