Tap. Pours clear golden, large white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is field grass, citrus, hints of cat piss and lemon pledge, Belgian spice, grains of paradise. Flavor is very light sweet, medium bitter, grassy, lemon, spiced. Light body. Underwhelmed.

It’s a good thing that nine DC breweries don’t contribute to too busy a beer. Easy drinking and subtle on aroma. Light citrus and some grass. Hazy golden pour with good head and lacing.

Couple growlers from the brewery poured a murky, hazy pineapple gold with some creamy white head. Nose has some tropical fruit, pineapple mostly, lime, tangerine, some honey, a little mead like esters. Flavor has honey, melon, tangerine, orange, pineapple, grass. Finishes a bit astringent and bitter. Shot for a NE juice bomb and nearly made it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Alon. Cloudy yellow. Lovely fruity hops aroma, tropical and citric. Rather dry flavor, with nice bitter fruity hops. Light to medium-bodied. Very nice.
