16 oz can poured into a tulip. 8.9% ABV batch. No canning date but probably canned 3-4 weeks ago. Hazy orange with two fingers of off-white head. Tiny bits of sediment floaters. Nice lacing. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, tropical fruit, floral, malt, a little alcohol. Tastes of tropical fruit, citrus, some alcohol, floral notes, a little pine. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Pretty good but unfortunately it gets outshined by DC Brau’s Wings.

Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a large, eight centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, hay, grass, funk, lemons, tea, powder and wheat. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavour with a bit of lemons, some yeast and funk, but a ton of lemon and tea flavours throughout showing some rather earthy and perfumey flavours instead of typical saison notes. Aftertaste shows a nice wheatie and heavily spiced beer with grass and flowers throughout. Overall, a decent beer thats more of a herb/spice beer than a saison, but still interesting and against the grain of typicality. I sampled this sixteen ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City, at the end of my driveway on 28-June-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Upstate New York (New Paltz) on 23-July-2016.

Can shared by Cuso. Grassy, citrusy, barnyardy. The hops nicely mellows the sometimes sharp saisony spicy edge. Juicy, fresh feeling, refreshing, easy drinking. Very good.
