750ml bottle pours a thick, deep brown with some cloudy, tan head. Nose has chocolate, some earthy tobacco leaf, raisin, licorice, coffee. Flavor is all chocolate, some cola, a little molasses, dark brown sugar. The prick of black pepper hits the tip of my tongue at the end. Semi-creamy finish. A bit thin. Not enough of everything.

Crisp light copper and bronzed coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bread, light spice, yeast, coriander seed and a good amount of fresh light grassy hops. Medium-bodied; Mild grassy and herbal hops up front with a nice fragrant coriander seed and curacao flavour right behind with bits of spice and yeast as well. Aftertaste is dry and airy with an almost saisony like flavour at first that shows a touch of white pepper, but is mostly grassy, herbal and showing some nice light sugars. Overall, a nice white IPA that is on the mild side, but also not on the super hoppy bandwagon - this is more balanced and showing more of a wit than an IPA - still nice throughout. I sampled this beer on draught, purchased in a growler at Whole Foods in Washington (P Street - Logan Circle), DC on 28-June-2015 for US$10,00/32 ounce fill sampled at home here in Washington a day later, still with great carbonation.

Good Berliner. Hazy golden pour. Rye does well here - at least I can’t tell the difference between it and a regular Berliner. Some citrus and lots of yeast. Some oaky astringency in finish. Tap at meridian pint.

Growler shared at Slutfest 5, 4/25/15. Hazy orange yellow, thin fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of crackery malt, lemongrass, pale malt, dry citrus. The taste is bready malt, lemon, citrus, spice, yeast. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering spice, refreshing.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont. Poured a very cloudy golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma was lots of tropical fruits, some funky barnhouse notes from brett or whatever. Interesting. Touch of sweetness on this one.
