Briek of krok, dit bockbier reed me denken aan lambic bieren. Wel een bocksmaak, maar wel fris en fruitig. Gekke combi, maar wel ok.

Draft at De Paas, Den Haag. Pours a hazy dark orange with a nice white head. Aroma of malts, grapefruit, caramel, overripe fruits, hops. Flavour is fruity and caramel sweetness, hops. Long dry bitter finish. Decent DIPA, I’m surprised at the negative reviews here.

Aroma of malts, fruits, spicy yeast, herbs, light hops. Flavour is malty, yeasty, fruity, with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. Somewhat interesting beer, but the Amarillo struggles to shine.

Bottle at home. Aroma is bready malt, sweetish fruits, orange, peach, hoppy notes, a bit sugary and herbal-ish. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Fairly sweet and a bit sticky Belgian Ale, not an IPA at all.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. At 7.3% abv. Aroma is dried fruits, dark malt, caramel, raisins. Some toffee. Medium sweet, light bitter. Body is medium. Mostly dried fruit, pretty agreeable.
