From tap at 4e Noordelijk Lentebieren festival Leeuwarden. Aroma is dark roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate, notes of coffee. Flavour is fairly sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium. Between a Baltic Porter and a Quadrupel. Nice beer.

From tap at 4e Noordelijk Lentebieren festival Leeuwarden. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical fruits, citrus, a touch of floral. Flavour is light sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Nicely fruity hoppy refreshing American Pale Ale.

From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Strong wheaty aroma with white bread and soft sweet fruits, including some citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a slight touch of wheaty sourness. Body is a bit weak. More like a Wheat Ale or Weizen than a Heller Bock. Not exactly bad, but weak to the palate.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is wheat malt, vegetables, spicy yeast, with some mild fruity notes including citrus and a touch of apricot. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with a bit heavy carbonation. Very disappointing, I’d expect something... oh I don’t know... Hoppy?! for a beer called Monster Hop Love... The notes of veggies and ultracarbonation also do not help. Very flawed.

From tap at Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival 2017. Aroma is yeasty with ripe fruits, bit sugary, spicy notes, light notes of vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent body, drinkable Blond but a bit bland. * re-rate at 6e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Grainy malt with lightly hoppy notes, some citrus, moderate plus bitter, hops have gone a bit old. Grassy notes. Okay.
