22 oz bomber Nose of hops, but not as much as the Hopsicle (My favorite IPA); hazy amber-gold with a small white head; flavor malty hops with some citrus notes, and a nice, hoppy finish. Underrated IPA!

2nd beer of Eugene’s BW Festival. Poured into a brandy glass. Appearance is the best part of this beer. Pours with a big head, milk off white, pillowy. Color is a reddish brown, just some translucence. Taste and aroma are all hop , with barely any barleywine taste. And not in the lots of hops and lots of barleywine taste but just piney herbaly pine. Taste is thin. Its nice but not for a BW.

Well, it sure looks purdy (cloudy straw color with substantial, foamy head) - kind of a light aroma of dandilions and grapefruit - a little bit of sweetness up front, followed by a very bitter citrus taste, giving the beers overall taste experience like that of eating a grapefruit with sugar sprinkled on it - weak in the finish - not all that great.

Thanks to Droopy49 for sending this one. Pours with a clear medium amber body under a huge, creamy off white ehad. Flowery grapefruit aroma. The flavor is moderately sweet with a heavy bitterness that overpowers the malt. Bitter from start to finish. This has the hops, but it’s a bit out of balance without more underlying malt flavors coming through.

Nose is sweet, citrusy and very hoppy, wonderful! Hazy amber body with a tiny off-white head; Sweet mixed with hoppy flavor and a nice hoopy bite to the finish. The ale is super hoppy without being super bitter!

Hazy copper pour with off-white head. The nose is grapefruit and grapefruit peel with some malt and some earthy yeast in the background. The flavor starts bitter and ends bitter, though some sweet malts in the background show up as the beer warms. Too, a slight note of orange is detectable. The finish is moderate and bitter.

Bottle Poured a dark rich black with an incredible milk chocolate colored head that was creamy and dense, lasting nearly the entire glass. Aroma was mainly dark, but soft roasted malts with planty of chocolate and a little coffee. Flavor was a nice blend of the above, mainly the choclate again, I thought, good, dark roasted, slightly burnt flavors, a little coffee and overal a bit on the sweet side. Not so bitter as others of the style, and the ABV was hidden well. Very smooth slick feel but not over the top heavy. Lingering bitter smokey trailer. Excellent. A new entry into my top 20 Thanks Jordan !

An unclear dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy combined with light notes of caramel. The flavor is strong with notes of caramel and grass. Nice.

Many thanks to droopy49 for this one! Pours out a nice orange/amber body that sprouts a good, creamy, off-white head. Resiny citrus aroma. Good body that delivers a fine mix of sweet malt balanced with plenty of hop bitterness that goes all the way to the finish. Very respectable IIPA.
