Red-golden; thick yellowish-brown head, big bubbles. Nose with candi-sugar, herbal, touch of alcohol. Bit sourish taste, herbal again. Bitter-citrussy. Quite sweet . Bitter grapes, retronasal milky aroma. Well-bodied. Alcohol remains mostly hidden. Vinous, slightly burning aftertaste. Not bad. Fruitier and more estery than most Proef beers.

Clear golden color, medium white head, some debris. Aroma is of chalk, cardboard, vanilla and candy sugar, bit spicy. Taste is sweet and dry, coriander, alcohol. Quite sharp and alcoholic palate, but not the bad metallic sharpness. Quite ok.

Fully clear old gold; thick yellowish fine & dense head. Nose with some chalk, vanilla, liqueurish, candi sugar, yellow grapes, some spicey notes. Extremely dry, so that the acidity of the carbonation is the first taste to come forward. Followed by a kind of spicey sweetness. There is more than just the carbonation. There is a burning, nearly acrid sensation. Alcohol obviously there, but it is not everything. The aftertaste gets a citrussy character. Remarkable beer. It's got NO distinctive feature whatsoever, but a burning mouthfeel. And yet I rather like it.

Cloudy light amber color, big creamy head. Strong malt aroma, light alcohol, light coriander, bitter honey. Very good malty body, lacking just some fruitness. Unluckly the palate is quite ordinary. A very good and drinkable one, for the lovers of Belgian Strong Ales, but not original.
