330ml bottle. Filmy dark golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Intense caramel malty and fruity aroma, hints of toffee, notes of overripe apple and pear, hints of mango and pineapple, a touch of fermenting fruit, some alcohol. Taste is minimally sweet malty and fruity, bitter hoppy overtones, some yeast, some alcohol in the finish. Slightly unbalanced, heavy, not what one would call "easy to drink".

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Cafe Thembi, 20130604) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had caramell and malts. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were malts, spices, caramell, Belgian style yeast, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had caramell and bitterness. An interesting and a bit weird dark Belgian brew. Not bad though.

Dobry mocny i lekko uderzajacy belgian strong ale. Buteleczka ciekawa, lakierowana, piekna i trwala puszysta piana, zloto pomaranczowy kolor. Finisz slodowy i troche alkoholowy, ale nie przeszkadza to w degustacji.

Bottled. Brown colour with a good initial formation of a beige head but that quickly diminishes. Aroma is toasty with notes of sugar and nuts. Flavor has toated malts, nuts, dry fruits, belgian yeast, brown sugar, caramel notes. The final is alcoholic with a sweet aftertaste with an average duration.

bottle from beer planet. clear yellow, smooth white head. Aroma is quite malty, slightly flowery, soemwhat sweet spicy, flavor is malty, hay, yeast, sweet spices, alc. flavor is a bit sweetish overall, but the high alc. as well as some bitterhopping makes it a little bitter and quite easydrinking. There’s this grassy hay flavor note that I don’t really like so much, but overall it’s pretty decent.
