Bit hazy, loads of yeast sediment, golden colored, medium frothy white head, OK lasting. Aroma is of malt, honey, some fruit, some spicy yeast, yeasty. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, honey, fruity, spicy, loads of yeast, bit of apple peel, bit sugar, medium- bitterness, some alcohol with warmth. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Way too yeasty, like eating a block of yeast... (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Flesje thuis gedronken. Geel, oranje-achtig licht troebel bier met stevig schuim. Kruidig, fruitig, tot snoepachtig aroma. Smaak is kruidig en bitterzoet. Nasmaak is bitter.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Murky brown, particles floating, off-white head. Lots of dried fruit, plums, yeasty, malty. Sweetish, some light sourness. Medium bodied.

Pours clear and sparkling golden with a creamy white head, with yeast particles. The aroma contains yeast, malt, hops, sugar, some fruit and vegetables. Also some dough and barnyard which give the beer an ’old’ character (could have been the bottle). It tastes medium sweet overall, leading to a dry and yeasty finish. Creamy texture, average carbonation, hIdes the alcohol. Typical Tripel and there might be something off, but I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt here.

Bottle, 330 ml from Beergium. Shared with JFK10000 and Josip. Pours cloudy yellow, large white head. Yeast, fruit, spices, sweet, some alcohol. Medium bodied.

Pours brown from the bottle. The head is foamy and sticky. Aroma is candy and caramel. Taste is overall sweet with notes of butterscotch, toffee, dark fruit and brown sugar. Light spice and alcohol in the finish. The sweet, spicy, alcoholic, malt-driven character reminds me overall of a German bock beer. Good stuff.

F: big, pale brown, hard to average retention. C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: malty, molasses, candy, hint of chocolate, coffee, dark dried fruits, plums, raisins, date, figs, yeast. T: malty, dried fruits, red fruits, liquorice, dark cherries, raisins, sweet chocolate, candy, date, full body, lower carbonation, quite interesting and good, 33cl bottle from Prik&Tik /Quali-drinks/ in Brussels.

F: big, off-white, long lasting. C: opal golden, hazy. A: malty, yeasty, floral, orange peels, vanilla, hint of candy, spicy, hint fruity. T: malty, candy, spicy, light orange fruits, sweet and dry together, hint coriander, very lively carbonation, full body, alcohol is warming but almost not noticed, interesting balanced, very good, 33cl bottle from Prik&Tik /Quali-drinks/ in Brussels.
