Description
At the Prancing Pony Brewery we are very proud of our unique story.

We believe that great beer should be brewed with passion and love, using the finest possible ingredients to create an array of complex, long flavours. Just like a long journey through the Sahara dessert, the flavour journey will be long and rewarding.

Our slow brewed beer and multi step mashing method crafts a beer with unsurpassed malt and caramel flavours. We refuse to filter our beers ensuring all those good flavours remain. We also bottle and keg condition so our beers can be stored for a long time. They just get better with the passing of time. The Pony says ”Dude it’s so good!”

At the Pony, our unique brewery door outlet “The Brewshed” is located right inside our commercial brewing space. There’s nothing as relaxing as watching our brewers hard at work while you enjoy the fruits of their labours with a beer tasting plank!

This is an absolute belter. A Black IPA with plenty of unexpected fruitiness. There are aromas of toast, caramel, pine needles, grapefruit and stone fruit. It's got a lovely body with similar flavours, and it hides its alcohol brilliantly.

Thx Per for sharing! Very dark brown body, misty, off-white head. Interesting, pungent aroma, caramel, dried fruit, some sweetish citrus, creamy. Sweetish body, caramelly, citrus, feels a bit on the older side, creamy enough, milk caramel, light bitterness. Not heavy, not bad.

375ml can into pint glass. From Beer Cartel. Pours red/brown with a large head of creamy foam and streams of tiny bubbles. Fruity nose with slight hint of caramel. Patchy lacing. Slight fizz, good body. Taste is sweet, finish has hints of smoky malt then lingering bitterness. Solid red ale more bitter than most.

Can. Somewhat cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of kumquat, red berries, hints of biscuit. Light bodied, getting towards watery. A ping of pleasant fruit that's not too toppy but has little to sit on.

(Can) Pours black with small tan head. Good aroma with plenty going on - roast grain, berries, booze, chocolate. Full bodied, smooth, creamy, soft carbonation. Excellent mouthfeel. Great taste too and again a lot going on. Throughout there is a nice balance from dark toffee sweetness and burnt sugar bitterness with the finish being the latter. There’s chocolate and notes of berries. Excellent.

There's a wonderful waft of Tang wafting out of the glass, plus stonefruit and a little pine. Not quite as interesting in the mouth, but a solid Hazy PA.
