(Can) Pours clear golden with no head. Little aroma - hints of citrus. Light body with bright lively carbonation. Good crisp and refreshing taste. Grassy hops and gentle bitterness throughout palate, some tartness at the start. Hint of bready malt mid palate. Very pleasant crisp lager.

375ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is grainy malt, herbal, mineral, woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light roasty, earthy, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Nice can that promised so much more.

The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, crisp, fruity lemon lime, dry, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

375ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, light cardboard lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, light sweet caramel, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. I don’t expect to be impressed by most pilsners I drink, but the touch of sweetness and floral hop notes gave this beer something a little bit different.

Can. Hazy amber with almost white head. Caramel, bread crust, flowery hops, pine, grapefruit, orange, biscuits. Just medium sweet and solid bitter. Over medium thick oily body. Quite OK.

Can from HavnensVin&Tobak. Pours clear reddish amber with huge white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, apples and apple seeds, soap, dried flowers and lime. Taste is medium sweet, medium to very bitter and light acidic. Body is creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of caramel, malt, fudge, dried fruit, apples, passion fruit, papaya and lime.

I don't know what happened to Black IPAs. I miss them so much, especially when I stumble across one as good as this. Lots of toasty malt combined with more decadent notes of raisin and spice, plus grapefruit and pine. A very nice black IPA.

It sure smells boozy right off the boot, with aromas of pine needles, grapefruit, peach and honey. It's lighter on the tongue than expected, with the grapefruit coming through with some peach, lemon and sherbet. Nice length, slight burn in the back of the throat. A solid DIPA, but not a hazy in my book. Nowhere near it.

Just limping into the NEIPA category, this one. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, cherry and apricot. The grapefruit and apricot are most prominent on tasting with a strong pine needle note that comes late from out of nowhere. Not a bad beer, but not a great one.

Aromas of pine needles, honey, plum and biscuit. It's big aroma that is belied by a slightly lighter than expected mouthfeel. The resinous hop flavour does coat the tongue, however, leaving a long lasting grapefruit and honey flavour
