330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light caramel malt, zesty tropical citrus hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, fruity, slightly oily, resinous, light floral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

From a 375ml can on 12/9/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a hazy medium golden with a small head. The nose is quite floral, honeyed and fruity. Tastes quite sweet with lots of citrus and stone fruit, against a honeyed background. Finishes with a moderate, slightly sharp and spicy bitterness. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Quite unusual but really enjoyable. Has a touch of Stone's Fear Movie Lions about it, which is a good thing. Was not a huge fan of the standard Zeppelin, but this is excellent.

Can. Very dark brown with a light tan head. Roasty aroma with coffee and a strange almost meaty note that's distracting but partly dissipates after a while. Fairly light bodied, moderate carbonation. Not all that flavorsome until the end, with roast and bread before a nice stern dry finish accentuates a gently spiced bitterness that's highish for the style. As per usual the more I drank the more the good finish weighed on my view.

Can. Slightly unclear amber with a modest white head. Aroma of sticky bread crust, pine, grapefruit, some weeds - maybe West Coast means lots of Cascade here. Only just medium bodied. Not all that sweet. Maybe there are some subtle tropical notes too or maybe there's just a little pause before the substantial whack of bitterness kicks in. Either way it works well and suggests judiciousness in the hopping of this one.

Can. Could have sworn I'd had this one. Slightly murky amber with an off white head. Aroma of toffee, overripe tropical fruit, pine. 7- Just medium bodied really. The balance is clever, as bread and citrus are more obvious upon a taste: there's more malt flavours but they're clean and there's a toppy citrus note to the almost stewed tropical fruit. And then it's a tad resinous towards the fairly bitter end.

Can Arde's residence, Helsinki. Color is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Pine, some fruits, hops and malts. OK.

Bottle, 9% ABV. Clear deep amber with a cm of pale beige head. Aroma of sourish cherries, macerated dried fruit, bread and/or cake. Some singed biscuity notes. Weird. Not a whole lot of body, smooth with carbonation on the low side of moderate - which suits it. Caramel and biscuit sweetness before fruity bitterness. Dried, berry and tropical notes seem more convincingly tied together after a sip or two. Odd but good.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting thin white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee caramel, light juicy citrus, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet, with a crisp, fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
