12 oz bottle to glass at Viva Tacos in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is clear yellow golden with a smaller white head. The aroma is cereal grain, along with some soft herbal. The taste is lightly sweet cereal grain malt, floral, and the herbal finishes with a somewhat dirty mineral. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and the mineral finish. Nice flavor, mostly clean and easy drinking.

Notes from January 2011 Estilo Bock 2010 edition This beer was thrown into the communal ice bucket during New Years, where it lingered & subsequently became property of the operator of the establishment... me. :D A sticky glob of parchment-colored Cool Whip floats a top my Ommegang Anniversary glass. Clear antique maple wood stain, with a rich deep orange hue. Erratic misshapen lace blots the glass. Smells big of malted cereal, brown sugar, & grain alcohol. Oxidized potatoes, leather, & sticky beer residue make up smaller nuances. Glassy texture. Metallic charr, with caramel notes. Bland grain. Beef broth?! Newspaper. This bottle is CostCo fresh, but tastes old. Thin. Carbonation is lively. The finish is subtly sweet with some yet to be determined starch(boiled corn husks?). I could maybe swallow this better with some Ritz crackers & some of those ugly gift basket cheese spreads I've been gifted over the holidays. But then I wouldn't have any ammo left to pass off to unwanted guests.

Notes from January 2011 Another dingleberry left over from New Years Eve. Rare Vos tumbler. Couple inches of creamer-colored head. Rich, shiny copper brew. Smells of sticky caramelized wort with a touch of cider & bottle cap. Sharp metallic twang upfront. Taste is salty & stale biscuits. Finish tastes like boiled veggie water & hair. Carbonation is out in front trying to detour you away from the actual taste. Frothy, but once you get underneath it, it is very watery. The alcohol stands practically naked. If it didn't look so pretty in a glass I wouldn't of even tried.

Bottle. Gold, a good cm of white head. Mild grainy aroma with detectable floral hops. A little body and richness, clean. Very modest bitterness. Not bad at all, just could have used a few more hops.

Bottle. Amber with a dense 2cm near white head. Kvass-like aroma of bread, caramel, faint spices. Very sweet. Some roasted notes along with loads of caramel. Desultory bitterness. Just too sweet for me.
