I’ll leave my original rating intact for no reason, but this one has been due a rerate for a long time, and that time has finally come. I recall the sentimental reasons I gave this a 2.5, and not only has that sentiment been long lost, but so is the desire to keep the numbers up on this one. Pours an iced tea brownish amber, minimal fake looking head. Nose rife with corn and perhaps a vegetal note. Flavor also vegetal corny (DMS), a bit like corn flakes soaked in cheap lager. Very sup-par. Original rate: A cleaner version of their main light lager. Somewhat sweeter with less pronounced hop bitterness. Overall nothing much - still a bit on the light side. A few bonus points for being a sentimental favorite.

Draught at Frankfurt, Polanco, Mexico City. Clear nut brown, mid sized head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruit, caramel and, wait - that’s it. Perhaps slight boiled vegetables. Low bitterness. Perhaps not the most exciting beer in the worldm, but a reasonable drinkable and clean macro amber lager.

Trash. Pure trash. It looks OK - bright translucent gold color, but with a thin, quickly dissipating artificial head. Its color is its only positive trait. Aroma is sweet, with some weird malt but mainly of cheap white wine. Flavor is the same. No detectable bitterness here. All hops must be right at threshold. Not balanced. Not very wholesome tasting. Most beers of this type I can actually drink (even if I don't enjoy them). I can't drink this. The word swill was invented for this beer.
