Taste of ripe fruits supported by biscuit and grainy malts. Mid-dry stewed fruity finish. Accepted. (Day 3 of the festival, 24.01.2020).

From Wooden cask, third shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Wood Bar. Small sized fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, plain black body. Nose of roasted malts, dry. Taste of cherries and wood, vinous-impression. Roasted tail, well bodied. Likable. (2nd day of the festival, 23.01.2020).

Keg @ Jack In the Box at Mackie Mayor, Manchester. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. Has a light Helles styling, but is evident enough with perhaps its crispness its best feature.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. More deep copper than red in colour, and is pleasantly textured, although low in flavour. Has a creamy-frothy head and is mildly bitter-sweet.

Cask at the 2020 Manchester Beer Festival. Amber pour,no head. Toffee,orange liqueur and malt loaf aroma. Flavours of citric peel,dried fruit,orange toffee. Lots of warming alcohol in the close.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Clear copper with a golden-red glow. It's an easy session texture, hoppy and very mild in its red berry notes. This is a fairly standard brew, sessionable, with some dirty sweet-floral notes in its aroma.
