On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Reddish black pour with a beige head. Generals gathered in their masses..rich aromas of molasses, plus cola, liquorice toffee, raisin, dark fruits. Taste is chocolate, dark fruits, liquorice toffee, raisin. Sweet malty finish. Heavy stuff.

Nice CDA. Pleasantly balanced overall, mellow roast, some orange peel, toasted pine, bit of cocoa. Somewhat tame but the balance is there and itโs well drinkable. Softly bitter linger in the finish.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with a thin beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. No visible carbonation. Aroma of coffee, orange and blueberry. Flavour of blueberry and chocolate. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A solid low ABV black IPA.

440ml can. Hazy brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, caramel. Taste is quite sweet, dried fruits, caramel, some chocolatey nutty malts, light bitterness to finish. Almost flat, very little carbonation. Light-medium bodied.
