Description

Notes 1989 version (when this Bokbier was named Nattegeitje). Bottle & tap. Brown color. Aroma’s: light sour, moderate sweet, herbs/spices. Flavor: light sour, light bitter, light sweet. Medium bodied. This is when ’t Kuipertje started to get infections frequently, alas.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde. Drank as ’Boerderijwinkel ’t Bergje Blond Bier’. 6.5% ABV Hazy golden with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with some honey. Taste is sweet, with an underlying bitterness. Not that exciting but pleasant enough.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is big boozy alcohol and little else. The flavour is strong bitter light sweet with a major yeast alcoholic palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I wished I’d tried the tap version of this at Gouda because the bottled version was pretty awful. Its all about the alcohol and that’s where it ends. Almost undrinkable tbh.

Bottled @ local clubhouse, large sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, short frothy white head. Aroma of grainy malt, slight spicy, bit honey sweetness, bit flowery. Quite sweet in taste, grainy malts, not much bitterness. A belgian blonde with a bit too much honey sweetness. Average. --- Beer merged from original tick of t Kuipertje Poldrièn on 15 May 2020 at 21:16 - Score: 6.

Sampled @ PWBF Gouda 2014. Hazy yellow to orange color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, alcohol, slightly sweet. Hmm it’s quite nice actually, didn’t really describe it well enough. Worth a try though. Nice.
