Bragdy Twt Lol - The Trefforest Brewery - is a fresh and dynamic microbrewery located in Trefforest, South Wales. Our exceptional award winning ales are hand crafted and honed at such a small scale we’ve been able to truly push the taste experience of real ale. Established in 2015, based on a foundation of enthusiasm and trade experience our goal was to be unashamedly different from the other commercial breweries.

Cask @ Salopian. Pours a misty deep brown, small pale cream head. Aroma of nutty malts. Taste bears some nice dark malts, with some nutty chocolate notes accompanying a soft sweetness. Surprised to see it classed as a Black IPA as the hops mentioned above seem somewhat absent. But it’s a nice Welsh dark ale all the same.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper-amber with a small creamy head. Has a light stewed fruitiness but with a robustness about it.

Tried st the Newark beer festival 2017. Rich golden colour with a white head. Berry and light caramel aroma. Taste follows with a slight liquorice finish.

Cask at Euston Tap West. Very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, weedy hops, roasty notes and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 6/2/2017. Pale gold in colour with a slight, white, head. Citrus hops, tropical fruits, some creamy malts and a dryish finish. A good, hoppy, session beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 28/5/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Some citrus fruits, biscuity mlats and some leafy hops, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Twt Lol Pewin Ynfytyn (Crazy Peacock) ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, riped fruit, fruity, sweet fruit, sweet hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sweet fruit, sweet hops, riped fruit, orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Gravicask shared with Finn at Camra’s NWAF. Clear amber coloured body. Missing head, fair lacing. Fruity caramel on the nose. Taste of toffee, caramel and ripe fruits. Bittersweet tail. Medium to thin bodied. Decent (Derby 17.02.2016).

Fra cask/gravity på NWAF i Derby 17 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gylden. Skum langs glasset. God søt fruktaroma. Aprikos. Smaken veldig søt. Fruktkaramell. Uvariert.
