Established in 2014
BAPBAP was born from the desire shared by Edouard and Archibald to make a local and quality beer 100% "Made in Paris".
It was after their meeting on the benches of the college, a lasting friendship, the revelation of the Hefeweizen in Frankfurt for one, the discovery of the Brooklyn Brewery for the other, that the common dream of giving Paris its beer germinated. .
It took more than two years of research and six months of work to find and transform a former textile accessories warehouse into a craft beer factory. At the end of 2014, our first beer came out of the vats. Since then, we have produced more than 45 different ones! In 2019, the brewery acquired a taproom, a hybrid place between shop and tasting bar, to welcome all curious and regulars wishing to eat in or take out. In 2021, we opened our second production site in Sucy-en-Brie, in Greater Paris.

It is not an IPA, the taste is just disgusting with a kind of old limonade, mineral, ginger, really unpleasant at the palate, forget it, 03.04.17, buying it at one monoprix, Paris, judging it at the Mercure, Gare de Lyon.

I don't understand what it was happening. This bottle was just not drinkable, there was maybe a problem with the "brassin" salty, bad, 16.12.16, finding this beer in one Monoprix, Paris, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

On tap at Brasserie Bellanger, Paris, France. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweetish, hoppy, malty, caramel aroma and taste. Rather enjoyed this one, had 3 half litre glasses of it with my tasty meal in the Paris sunshine.

Sampled from the tap at Brewberry. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw with a bit of hay and some light earthy grass underlying. Flavor has lots of straw, a touch of sweet grains and a bit of hay in the finish.
