Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy blond colored brew with an sweet bitter taste. Hints of candy, fruits and butter (infected?).

Gruthaus Stadtbier Münster 1480, Fläschchen von Getränkefeinkost, MD. - Hellgoldbraun, trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase feines, weich brotiges und mild süßes Malz sowie aromatische herbale und zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, aus der die historischen Gewürze nur wenig herausstechen. - Antrunk kernig malzig mit Gerste, brotigem Dinkel und leicht fettigem Hafer; deutlich säuerlich-herb mit feinen Noten von Kümmel und Küchenkräutern. Gut rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang aromatische, leicht ätherische herbale und zitrusfruchtige Herbe und nurmehr zarte Säure. - Die Mischung aus fünf Getreidesorten und die Gewürze Gagel, Wacholder und Kümmel fügen dem obergärigen Gerstensaft interessante Noten hinzu, das Ganze bleibt aber rund und süffig, wohl dank gekonnter Abrundung mit geschickt gewähltem Aromahopfen. Aus der Flasche im 2015-01 getrunken. Rauch? Nein, dafür dominiert hier neben einem schönen malzigen Körper eine ungewöhnliche und wiederlich Wurstwassernote. So was will man doch nicht im Bier haben. Haben die erst ihre Bockwürste gekocht und dann mit dem Wasser das Bier hergestellt? Spannende Idee, aber nein das ist nun wirklich nicht meins.

Fles 33cl thuis. Gagel, spelt, zoetig, wat weeïg, tonen van dille, karwij, komijn, kruidig, redelijk zacht. (8-12-2023).

Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, and some dark fruit sense. Sweet some bitterness with a roasted malt, coffee and dried fruit end. Bottle from Greve. Gutersloh holiday 2023.

--Bottled at Ols Brauhaus am Hafen, Oldenburg. -- Near black, mid sized head. Aroma of chocolate, hazelnuts and toffee. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, toffee and coffee. Low to medium bitterness.

0.75 l bottle from 'Bierzwerg', bottled in November 2021. Slightly hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of pear, apple, hay,some banana and light clove. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral, gently yeasty-spicy taste of pear, apple, lemon peel, vanilla, banana and some clove, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly dry, minimally tart finish. Medium to full body, minimally astringent, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very refreshing for a Tripel, quite dry with a tart edge and plenty of hops. Original review text: Sampled from 0.75 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before July 2021. Clear, deep amber with a white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-floral and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, gooseberry, lemon peel, some banana and a touch of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, peach, gooseberry and some lemon peel, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, a little tart, quite dry, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Well-balanced, quite refreshing and quaffable, fruitier than expected. Nice stuff!

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours hazy pale straw gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is herbal, grassy, yeasty, funky edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light sours. Moderate body, slightly oily, quite lively. Interesting.
