Not as funky as expected, but the Gagel definitely gives it a unique taste. I'm sure this would be my most-checked-in beer in the 1480s.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', best before July 2024. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently herbal-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of grains, hay, herbs and light lemon peel. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, quite herbal-spicy, slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, hay, juniper, lemon peel and herbs, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly dry, quite herbal-spicy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Refreshing with a nice balance between herbs and fruit, quite good.

Mild säuerlicher, kräutrig bananiger Start. Geringe Herbe, zunehmend Dinkel, die Bananigkeit nimmt leicht ab und gibt dem Wacholder Platz. Bananiger und leicht trockener Kräuterabgang. 9/10/10/10/8/10

0.75 l bottle from former 'Biermuda', best before January 2022, cellared for almost a year. Hazy, reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and slightly yeasty aroma of peach, lemon peel, some honey, light vanilla and a touch of sultanas. Gently sweet, malty, rather fruity-floral and slightly yeasty taste of dried apricot, peach, lemon peel, some honey, sultanas, hints of vanilla and traces of white grapes, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, quite yeasty-spicy, dry finish. Almost full-bodied, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Lovely beer, one of the best Tripels I've ever had, not too sweet and yeasty but rather fruity and almost vinous, still maintaining lots of Belgian characteristics. Very good!
