Grapefruit, ash, lilly, nougat, peanut nose. Hazy golden, medium head. Sweet grapefruit, ash. Medium body, easy carbonation. Maybe I'm just not in the mood today, but this was awfully sweet without any pleasant malt caramelization.

Spurs celebrate a draw at home with Wolves like they’re going to the Champions League final. Sad.

Decent double from The Veil. They used to be top tier, have unfortunately fallen into that second category.

50cl bottle pours a leggy, oily black with zero head. Nose has malt and molasses and heavy vanilla. Caramel. Thick and oily in the mouth. Long sweet finish. Lots of vanilla and bread and molasses. Maybe a bit simplistic. Light spice.

From beerolution, Troisdorf, buying it in april 2024. Time to open this can, yesterday, after a long walk until my flat. Solid and tasty double ipa, malty, oat, rather dry and smooth, bitter, citrus, tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, medium body.

Taster at Max's. Pours black, with a small, brown head. The aroma is baking chocolate, black bread, marshmallow, and maple. Sweet and syrupy, with no real bitterness or balance. Heavy, fluffy, and thick. Beautiful and complex. Lovely.

Taster at Max's. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is malt chocolate, vanilla, cloves, oak chips, and caramel. Very sweet and malty, without much bitterness. Heavy body, fluffy, and malty. Big and decadent stout.

Taster at Max's. Pours black, with a thick, brown head. The nose is dark chocolate, butter toffee, toasted coconut, vanilla, nutmeg, and almond. Grainy sweetness, with a mild, earthy, background bitterness. Heavy, syrupy, and remarkably clean. Beautiful, smooth, complex, yet somehow not cloying.
