Bottle from cervejaportuguesa.com. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - flowers. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 120718

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 18A/3A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 81-2017 (BBF 07-2018). AROMA: medium malty notes with a honey-like impression, followed by medium-low estery presence (cantaloup melon) from fermentation. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. large white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to aroma with a medium-low malty presence (pilsner honey-like) and esters (apricot). very faint oxidized hops (dried grass). medium bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish that endures beyond the finish. PALATE: medium-low body with high carbonation, a bit excessive. OVERALL: a lager without its characteristic clean fermentation profile and with almost absent hop presence.

50cl Bottle at Tapas nas Costas, Coimbra. Black colour, fizzy beige head. Aroma of coffee, caramel, light vinous, hint of leather. Flavour follows, quite dry, fizzy, simple. Light bodied.
