Poured from 473mL can. Near clear pale yellow, just a touch of haze, with full white head. Mild tartness, lacto, touch of citrus hops. A bit muted overall.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, nuts and red apple. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, biscuit, red apple, brown sugar, nuts and earth in a dry, mild bitter, floral hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Malt-forward, not what I was expecting. Nothing Pale about this, more of an ESB.

Dark brown with a medium head. Fairly toasty, chocolate note, overall not bad. I wouldn't mind a touch more sugar but that's my preference for sweeter dark sugars talking.

Draught. Golden, with a medium head. Has a nice malty aroma, with a light noble hop spice accent. A big malt-forward lager, quite well made.

Had this at Eagle Nest Pub in Ucluelet. Golden colour, with a chill haze that dulls it slightly. Thin head. Malt forward, clean and bready, with moderate bitterness and a touch of herbal hop. Well made blonde. I feel like it’s hard to find an example of this style I want to drink twice but this works.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of yogurt, with traces of diacetyl. Flavour is quite offensive, with lots of butter, and lots of yogurt. Cheap, flawed kettle sour. Shit.
