A gift from a friend who was given one of the 2,011 750ml bottles brewed for the 140th anniversary in that year. Opened & enjoyed in 2013, a very well made strong brown ale, with chocolate, bread, citrus, dark malts & toasted caramel. Medium bodied & slightly sweet.

I consumed a number of these 330ml bottles in Autumn 2014, the beer was brewed to celebrate the Jersey island wide Tennerfest food festival. It is a light & hoppy golden ale with lemon and grapefruit making for easy drinking.

Tried from the cask August 2014. It is a sparkling light and refreshing beer, brewed in the craft style. The lager malt provides a hint of biscuit with an aromatic citric hop arising from the blend of Saaz and Hallertau varieties. Blonde is a well balanced, easy drinking beer, and served chilled. It a decent enough golden / lager but not my cup of tea.
