[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy reddish beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has light sulphury notes combined with caramel, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, combined with light notes of sulphur and berries, leading to a dry slightly metallic end. The worst of the five beers from West Berkshire that I’ve had.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy amber beer with a slight orange teint under a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel as well as light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, but also a light touch of fruit, before a very fresh hoppy note attacks, like freshly picked hops, somewhat American in the hoppyness. The end is dry and slightly bitter, but the body is a bit thin.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a presence of flowers and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with a strong note of fruit, and lots of hops, leading to a good bitter end. I could drink another pint or 10 of this.

DO NOT DELETE THIS BEER. A hazy amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with caramel dominating in the middle, which in the end gives way for notes of grass and a nice bitter end.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Oxfordshire, July 7th and 8th 2006. Golden beer, quite pleasantly hoppy, didn’t appear to be as lagery as it is made out to be quite dry bitterness lingers slightly.
