Hazy dark amber color. Quite nice aroma; the flavor is better, malty, fruity (apples), caramel, a bit woody. The final is well bitter, with a lot of caramel and light fruitness. A fruity Bitter.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] An almost opaque deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of both roasted malt and berries. The flavor is a powerful dry and roasted one, with lots of berries, and a light sweetness lingering in the background, but also a hint of acidity. The end is very bitter with a slight roasted touch. The body is a bit thin - but with so much flavor, it isn’t a problem.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet combined with a weird acidity, and some kind of herbal note. The flavor is sweet with light diacethyl notes, combined with stronger notes of fruits, like peaches, oranges, and guave, leading to a weird flowery hoppy end. I’m disappointed in this beer compared to the rest of the West Berkshire line-up that I’ve tried.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy dark orange beer with a bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and fruit. The flavor is very fruity and rather hoppy, as well as lightly grassy, leading to a dry and very bitter end, where the hops makes them self known with flowery notes. But the body is a bit thin.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A slightly hazy orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of both caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet with ligth notes of caramel to start off with, before the hops sets in, at first with citrusy notes, but then turning into flowery notes. The body is a bit light - no wonder at 3.7% ABV.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy reddish beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has light sulphury notes combined with caramel, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, combined with light notes of sulphur and berries, leading to a dry slightly metallic end. The worst of the five beers from West Berkshire that I’ve had.

[Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy amber beer with a slight orange teint under a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel as well as light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel, but also a light touch of fruit, before a very fresh hoppy note attacks, like freshly picked hops, somewhat American in the hoppyness. The end is dry and slightly bitter, but the body is a bit thin.
