[Cask at the Charlton Arms, Ludlow.] A classic old fashioned malty bitter, nothing wrong with it, but unfashionable nowadays. A pleasant reminder of times gone by.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours just-clear red-brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light chocolate and plum. Taste adds something jammy behind the chocolate. Bit thin on the finish.
