On tap. Pours a dark mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of jammy dark fruit, pine and brown sugar. Flavors of concentrated grapefruit, bitter pine, and sharp toasted malts. Imperial IPA - I don’t know - way offf balance - but nice enough.

Bomber from Total Wine, Gainesville. Pours hazy golden with a large beige head. Lots of carbonation in this one. Aroma of lemon zest, and grapefruit peel. Flavor is lemony toasted bread. Kinda bland, but not bad in any way. Grapefruit peel lingering finish.

Hazy and amber-brown with a thin head. Has an earthy, slightly citrusy hop nose. Clean, with piney grapefruit bitterness. A fair bit of caramelized, biscuity malt. Hop dryness and a dash of alcohol in the finish.

Dark. Touch of haze. Thin head. Burnt, dark chocolate, earthy Pacific coffee, quite austere but then the flavours lack dynamism and complexity. Wanted to like it, but it’s a bit harsh.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy an amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty restrained, with an odd earthy hop character and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour has some odd body odour, earthy hops and biscuity malt. Weird off-notes here rather destroy this. No good.

On tap at St. Augustine’s during 1st 45 taps annual event with Alex and Josh. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, some hoppy bitterness. Taste is pretty the same. Couldn’t find any evidence of bourbon barrel aging, just a good Black IPA.
