Tap. Deep ruby red color with no head. Aroma is peat, honey, cherry. Taste is cherries, funky, almonds, amarena cherry, peat, some tannins in the back, enough acidity to balance the sweetness. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Quite crazy, but nice!

Jeg går planken sammen med Kitty på Chinaski Lavapies, Madrid sep-19: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Kaffe, mørke bær og melkesjokolade i fint samspill. Rb-tilværelsen i Spania er egentlig ganske sorgløs.

Borefts XI, Day 2. Keg. Cloudy yellow- gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and fairly dry and has a minerally crispness. Dry wheaty malts, very wheaty and somewhat powdery. A slightly off perfumey floral note. Trace of citrus. Light dry finish. I love it when brewers revive old recipes but not everything ancient was good and it makes you thankful for modern styles.
