50 cL can. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Medium dense caramel aroma and slight alcohol presence. Caramel and biscuit malty base flavour with a mild spice note and an alcohol presence and warmth. Alcohol and bitterness make out the finish. Too alcohol dense for my liking.

33cl bottle. Not much is to be said about this beer. It remains one of my all time favorite scotch ales along with the Gordon Xmas. Pours copperish with a beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted and caramely. Taste is strong roasted / caramel and some coffee + butterscotch. Alcohol is quite present all over the tasting, very roasted.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange with a huge white head. Aroma is acidic to citric and with a mild apple note, moreover it smells spiced too. Sugarish sweet and light appleflavoured, again with a cinnamon/coriander/ginger like spice note. Almost cloying sweet and spiced finish, yet as a fresh summerdrink it is fine.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with mediumsized off-white creamy head. Aroma is sweet fruits, some green apples and a bit earthyness and wheat. Flavour is quite much the same, a rather sweet beer. Finished in cardboard like notes.

Bottled. Hazy deep brownish red colour with small white/pink head. Aroma is fruity and sugary. Flavour is mainly red berries with some mild fruity and papery hints. Rather uninspiring.
