330 ml. bottle. Cola colored pour with a large, near rocky, tan head. Aroma is roasted caramel with whisky smoke notes. Sweet. Slighty smokey. Darkish roasted malt. Some heat. Thin to medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation. It’s too hot to sip well, and it’s too sweet to quaff freely. So this "unique nectar " has to stand on it’s own. I like it, but I like other beers more.

Bottle. Orange tinged golden color with a multifinger white head. Smells slightly smokey, oaky, and sweet. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. Lots of heat.Whisky malt flavors. Finishes slightly sweet. More than slightly. A strong version of Adelscott? It is impressive, but daunting.

Canned. Clear dark amber. Ethanol aroma. Sweet and syrupy, metallic and garsh. There are som ne substance, like notes of grassy hops, but it’s dominated by an alcoholic burn.

Sampled draught at Thembi, Maastricht.
Brownish amber with creamy rich head. Huge on caramel in the nose. Very sweet. Malty start but vanishes into a sugary, syrupy finish. Feels one-dimensional and industrial.

Bottle: Poured a deep clear brown color ale with a huge foamy head with a light brown head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some dry fruits notes. Taste is also dominated by some sweet malt with noticeable trace of candi sugar and some dry fruits notes such as figs and plums. Body is slightly thin for the style with great carbonation and some light alcoholic phenols. Not the best Christmas Belgian style ale I have tasted but pretty good nonetheless.
