Behagelig bitterhet i avslutningen.

Spotty beige head on a dark reddish brown coloured body.
Malt, winey & bitter aroma.
Medium bodied, sharp in the tongue with a cloying back.
Heavy malt, pine, grapefruit & citrussy tastes with a tangy hopped finish.
Nice enough.

Cask. Pours a bright mahogany with moderate foamy head. Very light aromas of toasted malts and butter. Flavors of soft bready malts with just a hint of hops. Meh. Light malt beverage…

Keg at the Battle Axes, near Borehamwood. Lightly hazed gold with a white head. The aroma is pleasant - mainly sweet marmalade. The taste is rather dulled down though - a generic citrus flavour set against sweetish malt with a touch of pine in the moderately bitter finish. It's not bad; it's just very muted and lacks life. Typical faux craft really.

Decent easy drinkable session ipa. Especially at this alcohol level.
Not that thin texture.
Pale malt, fruity, herbal and citric.
