[50cl bottle from Morrisons.] An amber pour with a loose white head; typical GK aroma with fruity yeast and a herbal bitterness; sweet malty taste; with a decent short lived herbal bitterness to finish. Drinkable but forgettable.

Red, cloudy, creamy thick, light yellow foam. Sweet, caramel in the mild aroma. Sweet, fruit, malt candy, with a growing metalic and spice in the aftertaste.

Clear 500ml bottle from my local Morrisons. Drank straight after England beat Norway in the World Cup quarter finals, early hours of 12th July 2026. Poured into an old Abbot Ale countryman pint glass (at home). Aroma was slightly malty, slightly fruity and very 'Greene King'. It's OK, but it's also obviously a cheat supermarket beer all round, Reminds me why I rarely drink beers from these guys.

Handpull cask at the Lass O'Gowrie, Manchester. Light brownish amber with a soft and thin beige head. Fresh, juicy aroma. I'm getting stone fruit on the nose, especially peaches, pink grapefruit. Strong iced tea. Taste is mostly sweet initially with a malty note. The bitterness turns up a notch toward the finish. Thick, tannic mouthfeel. Credit where credit is due, this is one of the better GK beers.
