The Gyle 59 Brewery. Spring fed, log powered, propane driven, unfined, hazy crazy artisan beers. We want you to notice what you are drinking.
All our beers are created with one thing in mind - flavour. We are lucky enough to have a unique supply of spring water which we are using to good effect allowing the many different qualities of our ingredients to shine through.

Cask (handpump) @ [ EBF21 2015 ], 21th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Gyle 59 Amarillo Cardamom Pale ].Clear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, zpicy, cardamom. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, spicy bitter, pale malt, cardamom. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150807] 5-3-5-3-10

[ As Gyle 59 Tropical Thunder ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, UK yeast - vomit, light floral - herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, pale malt, fruity, spicy bitter, peppery finish. IMO odd !! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150806] 5-3-6-3-11

Cask at GBBF�17, day one, 08/08/17. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is peach, tangerines, straw, toasted grains, light bread dough. Taste comprises raw pineapple, tangy citric peel, sharp orange, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but lacks balance ... a touch raw in places.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, sweetish. Decent grapefruit and grapefruit peel. Mild spice. Little orange peel. Dry bitterish finish, Grapefruit linger. Decently citric but dry.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is sweaty hop, lime, doughy wheat, tangy. Flavour is composed of sour white grape, raw doughy grains, bitter lemon juice. Palate is doughy, bitter, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A clear orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of red malt, resinous hops, caramel. Taste of mild resinous hops, not too bitter, spruce, caramelish malty finish.

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2017, Ealing, London. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Yeasty, lemon, citrus aroma. Tastes yeasty, lemon, citrus and quite dry. Tasty saison for the summer weather outside.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a hazy straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, light fruit, woody hop. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a light watery, cardboard malt, light fruit, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Wellington - Birmingham. Pours clear, ruby-brown with a light, tan head. The nose holds toasted malts and dried berries. Light to medium sweet flavour, with notes of brown bread, leather, raisins. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, with light roast, cocoa, more leathery fruits. Pretty good stuff.
