Bottle courtesy of Peter Fowler (cheers Peter) had this at home, Monday 25th August 2014 Pours gold with a light chill haze, slin white fibe bubbly head. fresh nose with a little citrus, lemon. Quote dry after an initial sweetness, citrussy once again lemon showing. A really nice session beer, clean, refreshing and restrained citrussy taste. I am not disappointed with this brewery a very good beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle courtesy of Peter Fowler (cheers Peter) had this at Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Saturday 23rd August 2014 Pours almost black but tricky to be 100% certain as I am in the Main Stage 2 marquee watching a male American oops.. corection, Canadian folk singer who is very good, but the lights have been dimmed. Taste is roasty, malty but smooth with a little spike edge of bramble berries to add a little fruity tartness. Another very good beer from this brewery. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle courtsey of the wonderful and supremely generous Peter Fowler of Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage fame. Consumed at home Sunday 10th August 2014 Neither overtly hoppy or zippingly ginger but there is a little ginger warmth and the hops do show. Pleasant beer but it is if it is trying to hard to please to different camps and not quite achieving either aim. I like it but only in a decent glugging moderately hoppy slightly gingery beer way.
